School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

STUDENTS FIRST DAY OF TERM 1 2026: Monday 2nd of February

On the first day of Term 1, mainstream students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will find out their class teachers.

Students are to line up when the morning bell sounds in the following designated areas:

• Kindergarten and Year 1: Lower COLA (near Junior playground)

• Years 3 and 4: Upper COLA (near the Jackson Hall)

• Years 5 and 6: Library School bags should be located in these areas prior to the bell.

Any changes to this process will be communicated to parents and caregivers in the holidays via Facebook.

ANNUAL SWIMMING CARNIVAL:

DATE: Thursday 5th of February

LOCATION: Sapphire Aquatic Centre Pambula

TIME: All day event - Students will travel via bus after roll call and will return in time for end of day pickup/bus travel home.

ATTENDING STUDENTS: Competitive and confident swimmers attending swim club and/or squad training, or those who can swim 50m continuously without stopping in Years 3-6.

*Year 2 students - Although this carnival is for students in Years 3-6, if your child turns 8 in 2026 and is a competitive swimmer your child may participate.
