School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

P&C Seminar for Parents and Caregivers - Raising Kids in a Digital World

Proudly Presented by Merimbula Public School P&C Association - join us for an engaging night of information and discussion about how to keep our kids safe in an increasingly digital landscape.

The team from Inform & Empower bring a mix of expertise and passion to help schools confidently navigate the online world.

This event is open to all Bega Valley parents, carers and educators of children up to Year 6, and due to the nature of the content being discussed, this is an adults only event.

A donation on entry is appreciated, and will allow us to continue holding these important events for our community!

Date: Tuesday 18th November 2025
Location: Club Sapphire Merimbula
Time: 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start - the presentation runs for approximately 90 minutes so the evening should be wrapped up by 8:30pm

2026 Kindergarten Orientation Program

We are excited to announce the upcoming Kindergarten Orientation Program for children enroling in Kindergarten for 2026.

Thursday, November 20 9.30am - 10.30am
Thursday, November 27 9.30am - 11.00am
Thursday, December 4 9.30am - 12.00pm

During the orientation sessions, children will participate in fun and engaging activitiesThis program is designed to help your child become familiar with the school environment and meet teachers, making the transition to school smooth and enjoyable.
