Bell times

Our school day is structured around a clear timetable. We have set times for learning sessions, activities and lunch. Understanding the bell times helps students get the most out of each part of the day.

It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our administration office.

Our bell times

Morning Supervision:  Teachers supervise students from 8.25am.  Students should not be on the school grounds before this time. Students can play on the Basketball Court and other hard surfaces in the morning, as soon the supervising teacher is on duty. The canteen operates each morning from 8.30am where students can receive a free breakfast thanks to our community sponsored 'Breakfast Club'.
8:55 am
School day starts:   Students assemble with their class. Students enter their classes at 9am for their morning session. A fruit break is held at approximately 10am.
11 - 11:30 am
Lunch: Students eat their recess for the first 10 minutes students sit in their classroom or stage eating area. The play session lasts for 20 minutes. Students may borrow sports equipment from their classroom sport equipment tub.
1:15 - 1:55 pm

Recess: Students sit in their stage eating area and enjoy their lunch for the first 10 minutes before going to play  (lunch orders are collected from the school canteen, by the class lunch monitor, 2 minutes before the bell). The play session lasts for 30 minutes.

Students may borrow sports equipment from their classroom sport equipment tub during this time. Students may also visit the library, or take part in skill-based sports activities on the Oval. Other music tutoring, performing arts and sports training also takes place during some break times and a "Chill Out" room is open daily for students wanting to play quiet indoor games.

2:55 pm

School day ends: The afternoon bell alerts staff and students that school has ended. Students who catch a bus or walk home assemble in the bus and walking line areas. Children meeting their parents can do so at the 'pick-up area'.

Students catching the bus or joining the walking line will be escorted outside of the school gates by staff.
