A great day in Bega was had by all!
Congratulations to the Merimbula Public School Zone Athletics Team on their efforts at last Friday's PSSA
Our Junior Boy's Relay Team came 3rd in the final, and 2nd in their heat! Well done to Liam, Logan, Luka and Harry! Our Senior Girls came 3rd, Junior Girls came 2nd and Senior Boys came 4th in their relay heats.
The following students achieved amazing results, and received ribbons on the day: Indyana Raeck - 3rd in the Junior Girl 200m Sprint; Kellie Pickup - 2nd in the Junior Girl High Jump; Addison Badewitz - 1st in the Junior Girl 100m Sprint Heat, 2nd in the Final; Jayda Hulme - 3rd in the Junior Girl Discus; Hollie Staight - 11 Years Girl: 2nd in 800m, 3rd in 100m, 3rd in High Jump, Age Champion Runner Up; Stonie Campbell - Senior Girl 100m 1st in the Final, 200m 2nd, Age Champion Runner Up; Zoe Chapple - 2nd Senior Girl Shot Put; Liam Duggan - Junior Boy 100m 1st; Campbell Lovatt - 3rd in 11 Year Boys 200m; Jayden Reyneke - 3rd in 200m and Shot Put 11 Year Boys; Beau Bennett - 2nd in the 800m, 2nd in 1500m, 2nd in Long Jump; Lachlan Charlton-Seaman - 200m Senior Boys 3rd; James Richardson - Senior Boys High Jump 1st. Liam Duggan, Logan Burton, Luka Cowels and Harry Blewitt - Junior Boy Relay 3rd.
Students who did not stay for the presentation will receive their ribbons at Monday's 3-6 Assembly in the Jackson Hall at 2.10pm.
