Merimbula Public School have been using the Compass Parent (and Caregiver) Portal from Term 1 in 2023.
This new portal has replaced our School Stream app. At the commencement of 2023, Parents and Caregivers have received a Compass "Parent Guide" via email. If your email address has changed, or if you have not received the email invite and 'Parent Guide', please provide the school with your new email address, via email to: merimbula-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au
Our new Compass 'Parent Portal' will allow users to receive school communications, notices, newsletters, alerts and more! Parents and caregivers will also be able to:
- Add attendance/absence notes;
- Communicate with their child’s teachers;
- Monitor their child’s homework and assessment tasks;
- View Semester and Progress Reports (from Term 2);
- Book Parent Teacher Conferences;
- Consent and pay for school events.
We hope that this improves communication within and beyond the school, as we aim to continue to provide opportunities for students and their families to take part in a range of academic and extra-curricular events.
